I've been experimenting with facebook via text messaging during the past week. I set it up using my digicel phone, and just for the sake of it, I actually used my Nokia 1108.

It was simple to set up, under account, go to account settings and click on the mobile tab. From there you simply follow instructions and you will be facbooking from any mobile phone!

You can even choose which notifications you would like sent to you, subscribe to friends updates, update your status, reply to messages and comments among other features.

Below is a list of common commands (sent to you when you set up)

Update status: is at john's party 
Message: msg john smith whats up? 
Get profile info: srch john smith 
Get cell phone #: cell john smith 
Wall post: wall john smith happy bday 
Poke: poke john smith 
Add a friend: add john smith 
Write a note: note this is a mobile note 
Comment on your status: comment commenting on my status
